In Their Own Story

The rain hammered against the obsidian surface of the Geass Knightmare, blurring the neon lights of Tokyo into streaks of sorrow. Lelouch stood atop the shattered ruins of the old capital, his cape whipping violently in the wind. Below, the masses chanted a name that was once a whisper: Zero. He adjusted the white mask, feeling the weight of the lie he had worn for years. 'A lie is necessary to survive,' he whispered to the empty air, though C.C.'s voice seemed to echo in his mind. With a single command issued through the comms, the tide of war shifted once more, proving that even a king without an army could conquer the world if he possessed the will to burn it all down.

Lelouch vi Britannia (Alias: Zero) is the son of Emperor Charles zi Britannia and Empress Marianne. His primary allegiance shifts from the Black Knights to a self-proclaimed global tyranny in his final arc. Key relationships include his sister Nunnally, whose well-being drives his revolution; Suzaku Kururugi, his childhood friend turned rival; and C.C., the witch who grants him power. His bond with these figures defines his emotional landscape. In R1, Lelouch rises from a student to the leader of the Black Knights, forcing Britannia to retreat from Japan. In R2, he escalates his war, eventually seizing the throne to become the 'villain' of the world, consolidating all hatred upon himself.
